Jubilee Results 2026
As part of the MLGC Jubilee celebrations, the ladies recently held their inaugural silver salver competition. Proving that you're never too old to take up golf, Margaret Smith who only started playing golf after she turned 60, battled the elements and her fellow players to take first place and get her name on the salver.
79 year old Margaret's achievement is all the more impressive having recently returned from knee surgery and puts her good fortune down to the friendly support and encouragement of all the members and staff at MLGC.

MLGC Senior Men's section recently held their inaugural Jubilee silver salver competition. played as a 9 hole Stableford, in tough blustery and chilly conditions, the congratulations go to Adrian Friar.
Adrian shot an impressive 23 points, narrowly beating Club Chairman Paul Harris.

On an unseasonably cold and windy day, MLGC junior section held their inaugural Jubilee silver salver competition. played as an 18 hole Stableford, excellent golf was played by all. Luke Guest was the eventual winner with a score of 36 points.
