Jubilee celebrations
Celebrating 25 years of golfing excellence at Marston Lakes Golf Club!
Our journey starts in 2001, when 50 acres of farmland was purchased and developed into a stunning 9 hole par 27 golf course. With USGA specification greens and a challenging layout, with water coming into play on 7 of the 9 holes, the course really does live up to its name.
April 2026 sees the start of the Jubliee celebrations, with a season opening Texas Scramble competition open to all members. The summer months will see a competitive "Silver Salver" series, including dedicated tournaments for sections of the golf club.
Two long standing club members are also taking on a grulling challenge, consisting of 25 rounds of on the Lakes (225 holes or approx 55 miles) in two days. this is being attempted at the end of June, in support of the golf club and local Tamworth based Alzheimer's charity, Dementia Caring. Away from the course, the golf club will be hosting a number of family friendly events such as a quiz night, family BBQ and afternoon tea.
The celebrations will culminate in October, with an invitational Jubliee scramble event and ceremony for past members and captains of all sections.
